Todd Berry
Todd leads operations at Aland AI Drones, bringing hands-on experience in agriculture and drone technology. As a licensed Chief Remote Pilot, he specialises in spraying, spreading, and large-scale field operations. He keeps the team organised and makes sure everything runs smoothly, usually with a no-nonsense approach.
He’s big on getting the job done properly, but not above the occasional early knock-off when the work’s finished and everything’s running as it should, something the team definitely doesn’t complain about. Behind the scenes, Todd plays a key role in keeping operations efficient, the standards high, and the crew moving in the right direction.
Operations Manager, Chief Remote Pilot
Sophie O’Brien
Sophie plays a key role in keeping everything organised and running efficiently behind the scenes, with a strong focus on mapping and operational support. From handling day-to-day admin to flying mapping drones and spending a good chunk of time spotting obstacles on the computer and in the field, she helps ensure nothing gets missed (and if something does, she’ll probably hear about it first). Reliable, approachable, and always willing to help, Sophie is a key part of keeping things on track at Aland AI Drones.
Mapping Specialist, Senior Remote Pilot
Ethan is a dependable member of the team who has grown up around agriculture and is no stranger to the realities of working outdoors. Whether it’s monitoring drone operations or assisting on site, he’s always willing to lend a hand and get involved wherever needed. His practical mindset, adaptability, and familiarity with rural operations help make him a valuable part of the team.
Outside of work, Ethan is a passionate NRL fan who keeps a close eye on the game and everything happening around the league. His enthusiasm for sport, combined with his easy-going nature and strong team spirit, makes him a great person to have both on-site and around the workplace.
Senior Remote Pilot
Ethan Kruger
Coming from a strong agricultural background, Asher brings both knowledge and action to every job. Having spent time running a station, he has developed strong leadership skills, a practical mindset, and a thorough understanding of day-to-day agricultural operations. As the team's go-to problem solver, Asher is often the one repairing and maintaining equipment, from pumps and drones to a wide range of machinery and tools, helping keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of work, Asher enjoys bull riding, woodcutting, and other high-adrenaline activities. He thrives on challenge and isn't afraid to step outside his comfort zone, whether he's competing in the arena or tackling tough jobs in the field. His energetic attitude, resilience, and hands-on approach are reflected in everything he does.
Senior Remote Pilot
Asher Naughton
Fergus is the powerhouse of the team, bringing strength, energy, and a positive attitude to every job. Known as the team’s “lifting machine,” he’s always ready to help wherever needed and never backs down from a heavy lift (or a challenge).
Despite his size and strength, Fergus is a calm, easy-going presence on-site, keeping things steady when the pace picks up. He’s also known for staying disciplined with gym training, cooking solid meals for the team, and bringing good energy wherever he’s working, making him a valued part of the crew.

Tim Baker
Tim is a qualified remote pilot working alongside Sophie, developing his mapping skills and gaining valuable experience in core operational tasks. He is getting involved across a range of projects while building confidence with drone mapping, data collection, and field operations. Although still learning the ropes, Tim is a quick learner who approaches every task with a positive attitude, a strong willingness to improve, and an eagerness to contribute wherever he can.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys gaming and spending time at the coast. Whether he's exploring virtual worlds or making the most of the outdoors, he brings the same enthusiasm and curiosity to his hobbies as he does to his work.
Remote Pilot
Will is a trainee at Aland AI Drones, gaining hands-on experience with drone operations and AI systems. He’s picking things up quickly, especially in flight control, and brings a sharp, thoughtful approach to learning and developing new skills.
Outside of drones, Will enjoys snow skiing and spending time outdoors. He's also good mates with Asher, and the pair are often found sharing a laugh, taking on new adventures, or lending a hand wherever it's needed. His easy-going nature and team-first attitude make him a great fit within the Aland AI Drones crew.
Trainee Remote Pilot

Grace is a trainee at Aland AI Drones, currently learning the basics of drone flight and day-to-day operations while building confidence in the field. She’s steady, focused, and improving quickly as she gains more hands-on experience.
Outside of drones, Grace is into alpacas, agriculture, and music, a mix that shouldn’t really make sense, but somehow absolutely does. She can go from a serious work task to casually bringing up alpacas like they’re a normal part of everyday conversation, and she will 100% stop what she’s doing if there’s an alpaca involved.
